Our Story

At Bluedot Insight, our journey began with a team of seasoned networking veterans who have worked together for 25 years. We noticed a significant knowledge gap in adopting new programmable networking technologies while working in an advanced research and prototyping group using programmable silicon.

To bridge this gap, we created the Phoenix platform, a combination of commodity silicon and open-source software for stateful programmable applications. Our Phoenix Learning Center offers both free and premium content to kickstart your transition into programmable networking.

We’ve had the privilege of collaborating with industry visionaries in programmable networks and security. At Bluedot Insights, we believe a vision needs a dedicated team to bring it to life. That’s why we offer consultation services for requirement discovery, application development, and prototype delivery in as little as three months.

Mission

We love to build cool things using cool tools and chances are you’re here because you do too. The name Bluedot is a play on the famous “blue marble” photo taken by the Astronauts. A blue dot is what the astronauts saw of the world and using technology human perspective changed forever.
At Bluedot Insight we see SDN technology creating a new perspective on networking, thus we adopted Bluedot Insight as an analogy. to rapid change and insights.

Vision

To create an ecosystem of developers as excited as we are about transformative technology that disrupts the economics of several key markets. At Bluedot Insight we want to foster that development through training courses, how-to’s, code examples and consulting services.
