Requirements

• Ubuntu 24.04 (Noble), x86_64, kernel 6.x. Ubuntu 24.04.4 ships
  6.8, which is the kernel this release is validated on; installer preflight
  warns below 6.14 because a few DPDK plugins fall back there. If that
  fallback matters for your NIC, linux-generic-hwe-24.04 provides 6.14 —
  it is not required.
• TPM 2.0 (/dev/tpmrm0) on the target is required to activate a capacity
  licence. The free tier requires no TPM.
• VPP stats-segment sizing. The BNG allocates a forwarding entry and
  per-session counters for every subscriber, so the statistics segment must be
  sized to the deployment's subscriber count — VPP's 32 MB default is exhausted
  well before scale. 1.4.0 sizes this on install; see No validated VPP sizing
  profiles under Known issues for what is and is not automatic.
